Itinerary

Day 1

Arrival at Kathmandu, transfer to Hotel. Meal plan: (D)

Day 2

Morning Tibet visa form signature (if biometric required, visit China visa center). After visa process, sightseeing tour to Pashupatinath, Jal Narayan and Guheshwari Temple. Evening Pashupatinath Arati Darshan. Meal plan: (B/L/D)

Day 3

Visa process day as leisure. Optional private trip to Chandragiri Hill or Doleshor Madhev (own cost). After lunch, preparing for Kailash trip. Meal plan: (B/L/D)

Day 4

Drive Kathmandu to RaswaGadi (2500m) 7 hrs, 152 km. Enjoy rolling hills and rivers on the way. Meal plan: (B/L/D)

Day 5

Immigration and customs formalities on both sides (Nepal & China). Drive to small town Kerung (26km). Overnight Hotel (2900m). Meal plan: (B/L/D)

Day 6

Drive to Sanga 250km (4500m). Enjoy Mt. Shishapangma (8021m), Gauri Shankar, and other mountains from Gurung-La Pass (5050m). Overnight at Sanga. Meal plan: (B/L/D)

Day 7

Drive to Lake Manasarovar 385km (4500m). First glimpse of Holy Manasarovar and Mt. Kailash from Horchu Pass. Overnight Lodge at Chhu Gompa at the shore. Meal plan: (B/L/D)

Day 8

Puja, Havana, Meditation, Holy bath. Afternoon drive to Darchen (30km, 4560m). Overnight New Hotel. Meal plan: (B/L/D)

Day 9

Darchen to Diraphuk 18km. Kora begins. Drive 10 km, trek 4–5 hours to Diraphuk (4890m). Overnight Guest House. Meal plan: (B/L/D)

Day 10

Trek to Touch Kailash (~5 hrs). Glacier walk towards North face of Kailash, reach destination, touch and pray, return to Diraphuk. Overnight Guest House. Meal plan: (B/L/D)

Day 11

Trek to Zuthulphuk (4790m) 22km, 8–10 hours. Trek through Dolma La Pass (5600m), short prayers, reach Gaurikunda. Overnight Guest House. Meal plan: (B/L/D)

Day 12

Trek 8km to meet bus, drive to Darchen. Circuit ends. Overnight hotel in Sanga via Manasarovar Horchu. Meal plan: (B/L/D)

Day 13

Drive back to Kerung. Meal plan: (B/L/D)

Day 14

Drive Kerung to Kathmandu early morning. Clear Chinese & Nepal immigration, transfer to hotel. Meal plan: (B/L/D)

Day 15

Departure transfer to Kathmandu airport. Trip concludes. Meal plan: (B)

Day 15

Instead of Departure after Kailash Yatra, start Muktinath Yatra early morning. Drive to Pokhara via Manakamana Temple. Overnight hotel halt in Pokhara. Meal plan: (B/L/D)

Day 16

Early morning flight to Jomsom then drive to Muktinath temple (by Jeep). Plenty of time for yatris to do pooja, holy bath, etc. Afternoon drive back to Jomsom. Overnight stay at hotel. Meal plan: (B/L/D)

Day 17

Early morning flight back to Pokhara. Afternoon half-day Pokhara sightseeing. Fly back to Kathmandu, transfer to hotel. Meal plan: (B/L/D)

Day 18

After breakfast, departure transfer. Trip concludes. Meal plan: (B)

In Kathmandu deluxe hotel accommodations 4 nights with full board meals basic, all required transportations and sightseeing as per above listed trip itinerary. Tibet visa, Entry permit, Kailash parikarma entry fee, entries tour best available Hotel / Guest house including 2 nights parikarma, all veg. meals (dinner/breakfast/lunch). Pack lunch while we drive and walk on parikarma.
